- Age Range: 6-18 years old
- Length of Program: 6 years (Primary) > 4 years (Secondary) > 2 years (Junior College)
- Certificate Awarded: Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), GCE 'O' Level, GCE 'A' Level
- School Fees: S$100 to S$200 per month

Students undergo 6 years of Primary level education in Singapore. At the end of Primary Six, pupils sit for the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). Their PSLE results will be used to determine whether they will be admitted to the Special, Express or Normal stream in secondary schools where they will take the GCE 'O' level examination. Students then move on to Junior Colleges, a 2-year programme leading to GCE 'A' level.
