Description: Tired of doing the same thing every summer? Why not visit a tropical paradise and learn a new language - we invite you to immerse yourself in the Costa Rican culture and learn Spanish!

Every summer, Intercultura Costa Rica offers a Spanish immersion program for Teens which allows adolescents to learn Spanish and immerse themselves in Costa Rican culture. In addition to intensive Spanish classes, the summer program offers a variety of fun, chaperoned adventure activities which will immerse teen students in the local culture and expose them to the amazing variety of natural life in Costa Rica. Students may study at the beach or in the city and may begin any Monday between June 11th- August 13th.

Students may take from one week up, and arrange their program to coincide with both campuses (Samara beach and Heredia city campus) or just one, as they prefer. The Teen Summer Program begins June 11th and ends August 20th.

Highlights: Intercultura is located in the colonial city of Heredia, approximately 20 minutes by bus from the capital city of San Jose. Its central location within the city gives students easy access to transportation, shops and entertainment. At the same time, the tranquility and natural beauty of the mountains is only a few minutes away by taxi or bus. In the downtown area students are usually no more than a 5 minute walk from a variety of services, including: sports center and olympic-size swimming pool, Internet cafes, gyms, bars, restaurants, discotheques, the National University's theatre and grounds, the International telephone office, clinics and travel agencies.

In addition to its Heredia campus, Intercultura offers classes at its brand new, beachfront campus in Samara, Guanacaste. The beach is 5km long, lined with palm trees, and enjoys a calm, clear water ocean in a protected coral reef bay. You can swim, dive, snorkel, kayak and surf/ boogie board. Offshore, an island with a deserted beach is accessible by kayak or boat. Classes are held in our custom-built campus right on the beach, close to the town center and services. It offers tropical gardens leading to the sand, ranchos, hammocks, social areas, TV lounge, kitchen, and study rooms.
