Description:
For students from 5 to 18, the program is offered on the campus of a prestigious private school located on the outskirts of Madrid about 20 minutes drive. Located in the area of one of Europe's largest universities (la "Ciudad Universitaria," near the "Puente de los Franceses") the school is only 20 minutes by Metro from the Plaza de Espana, a major scenic point in central Madrid. One of the major features of this spacious residence is a 24-hour reception-area attendant, a cafeteria, an auditorium, an internet facility, photo lab, video/TV room, dining room and an infirmary. The outdoor area features a well-maintained garden area that opens onto a soccer field, a semi-olympic pool, a gymnasium, a basketball court, a handball court and tennis court. The total capacity of the residence is 190 students. School residence: (shared rooms) with 3 meals daily.
Students will be lodged at the school dormitory, in bedrooms designed to comfortably accommodate 6 to 12 students, (with a private bathroom inside of the room). Students will room with others close in age and of course, of the same gender. A group leader stays in the dormitories with the students during the night. Laundry will be done weekly. The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. On days that the students leave the premises to participate in special activities or trips, they will be provided with a lunch and snack bag.

Our summer program is located in the very center of Spain, surrounded by the arid 'mesta', Madrid is the highest capital in Europe. Spain's capital is a vibrant, modern city. Cars and buses jam the city's streets, yet the commute proceeds with order, speed, and efficiency Everything you might want to see is close by, via a leisurely walk, a quick subway trip, or an inexpensive taxi ride. One of the greatest advantages of the Summer Camp in Madrid is its magnificent geographical situation in the heart of the country with easy access to all the most important Spanish cities such as Salamanca, Toledo, Avila, Segovia, Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba. The Madrid camp excursions include an all day trip to Toledo, Avila, Segovia or Salamanca as well as half-day trips to El Escorial, the Aquapark, the historic center of Madrid, the Prado Museum, a general city tour of Madrid or other areas of interest to young international visitors. This program has been designed for students who would like to learn a language but also enjoy a full schedule of sports and leisure activities. The program was established by professional educators and allows the student to mix with other international students from around the world and local spanish students, of the same age.
