Description:
Pre-College Program: Spanish and Architecture & Art: Our summer program in Barcelona, Spain, is for high school students completing grades 9-12. Students will choose one art course as their focus and will have the option of taking Spanish Conversation and Culture as an elective. Art-related workshops will also be offered throughout the program, including visits to local art schools and professional studios and portfolio building. In addition, the Barcelona program will offer recreational, cultural, and social activities based on student interest. As part of the pre-college component, Abbey Road students and staff live together in a centrally located residence. While in the residence, students will learn how to live with a group of peers and share house responsibilities thus developing important skills to prepare them for the upcoming college experience.
