Description:
Pre-college Program: Art History, Studio Art, & Italian Our summer program in Florence, Italy, is designed for students completing grades 9-12 and focuses on Art History, Studio Art and Italian Language. Art History classes will take place in the morning. In the afternoons, students will choose among the following options: Oil Painting, Sketching, Mixed Media or Italian language. Optional workshops will be offered in subjects depending on student interest. Students and staff live together in a centrally-located private apartment complex in Florence. Students will learn how to live with a group of peers, in preparation for a successful college experience, they will share house responsibilities, shop for groceries in local markets and cook together.
