Description:
Pre-college Program: Studio Art, Art History, Italian Language, Fashion Design and Cuisine Our summer program in Florence, Italy, is designed for students completing grades 9-12 and focuses on Art History, Studio Art and Italian Language. Art History classes will take place in the morning. In the afternoons, students will choose among the following options: Drawing, Oil Painting, Sketching, Fashion Design, Survey of Italian Cinema, Tuscan Cuisine, Mixed Media or Italian language. Optional workshops will be offered in subjects depending on student interest.
Students and staff live together in a centrally-located private apartment complex in Florence. Students will learn how to live with a group of peers, in preparation for a successful college experience, they will share house responsibilities, shop for groceries in local markets and cook together.
