Description: Spend an unforgettable semester or an academic year in India at one of two highly renowned international boarding schools: The Woodstock School and Kodaikanal International School, both of which are fully accredited in the U.S..

Students take classes for credit, and don't interrupt their preparation for college. Since the curriculum follows an American model, you can easily transfer from your American high school to the schools in India and back again. Each school also offers either A.P. courses or the I.B. curriculum which can transfer into college credits.

You will have the opportunity to enhance your studies with Indian music or dance, trekking in the magnificent Himalayas, visiting exotic Hindu temples, shopping in open-air markets or volunteering in the community. SAGE also offers a special GAP year program for students who choose to defer their college admission. For those who prefer a shorter experience, SAGE also offers students the opportunity to explore India on our summer programs.

Highlights: A highlight of the SAGE year is a month-long cultural tour of India during school vacation. Students have unforgettable experiences: going on a camel safari in the deserts of Rajasthan; visiting the Taj Mahal; shopping in the old spice bazaars of Kerala; swimming in crystal clear water at the beaches of Goa. And that is just the beginning...
