Tarragona, Spain Located on the coast just one hour south of Barcelona, Tarragona is a great place to enjoy the Spanish way of life. Besides the fantastic beach, the town also offers beautiful historic buildings as well as lots of cozy cafes and tapas restaurants. Almost all sights are within walking distance from the city center. The Classes Bring your Spanish to life in conversational language classes, held every weekday in the morning or afternoon. You will share a class with up to 11 other teens from around the world. The program includes 15 hours of classes per week, with a focus on speaking and comprehension skills. Practical activities will give you many opportunities to gain confidence interacting in Spanish. | Cultural Activities and Excursions Enjoy the relaxed lifestyle and deepen your understanding of Spanish culture through afternoon activities and excursions. For example, you may explore old Roman ruins, play sports on the beach, or stroll through downtown Barcelona. On Sundays, you will have free time to get to know your Spanish host family. Accommodations A homestay with a local family is the best way to immerse yourself in the daily life in Spain. Host families come in all shapes and sizes, but what they all have in common is a strong interest in sharing their culture. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

Andeo-International Homestays's Mission Statement: Andeo-International Homestays is a non-profit organization specializing in short-term homestay programs since 1981. We design programs for students, teachers and families who are excited about developing friendships that span the globe.
We work with carefully selected foreign organizations that are experienced and respected in the areas of homestays and exchange programs. Together, we coordinate all of the elements essential to a successful homestay: careful selection and matching, preparation, support and follow-up.
We offer summer immersion homestay programs for high school students in Spain, France, Mexico, and Germany.
We also offer programs that combine a homestay with classes, volunteer opportunities and activities in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, France, Germany and Japan.
