Description:
Volunteers help to make roof tiles to a small family in a rural town. Your responsibility will vary, from loading clay into a mixer, setting the tiles out to dry, and preparing the clay for the next day. Volunteers work along side four or five young men who are very helpful. The job is somewhat physically demanding depending on the responsibility.
Highlights:
The highlight of the experience is seeing firsthand how the tiles are made and how this family work to earn a living.
