Description:
For the twenty-ninth consecutive year, Minnesota State University, Mankato, is offering its Summer Study in France Program. Students spend ten days in Paris visiting the main sites of the capital as well as many in the Ile-de-France: Epernay, Fontainebleau, Saint-Denis, Vaux-le-Vicomte and Versailles. On July 2, they head for Normandy where they visit Mantes-la-Jolie, Vernon, Giverny, Lisieux, Bayeux (its tapestry and cathedral), the landing beaches and museum at Arromanches, the American Cemetery and Mont-Saint-Michel. The month of July is spent in La Rochelle where students live with carefully chosen families and take courses to improve their knowledge of the French language, civilization, history and people. Qualified high school students are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Highlights:
We visit Paris and the area around Paris. We spend three days in Normandy. The students take courses taught by natives and live with French families.

Cost Include Description:
It does not include plane fare. It includes tuition, all transportation in France, all excursions, demi-pension with a family, lunch at the university cafeteria in La Rochelle, housing in Paris, Normandy and La Rochelle.
