SPI College Credit Immersion in Siena

Highlights: About Siena
In the heart of Tuscany and a short distance from Florence, Siena is one of the major cultural centers of Italy. Etruscan, Roman, Medieval, and Renaissance influences are visible everywhere. The center of Sienese life is found in the Piazza del Campo, a semi-circular plaza where people gather for coffee and conversation. This is also the best place to view the Palio delle Contrade, and annual horse race around the walled city.
