Description: The Intrax Western Europe tour is the most diverse of all summer programs, including cultural elements specific to each country. Students will be exposed to literature, history, art, and culture utilizing these three major capital cities as their classroom. In London, students will visit the British Museum and attend a play in the theatre district. In Paris, students will sample French cuisine and study art history at the famous Louvre Museum and at the Cathedral de Notre Dame. In Barcelona, students will discover stunning architecture by walking past Gaudi's modernist masterpieces, such as the Sagrada Familia. In addition, intense Spanish classes will be offered, giving students time to learn or improve their Spanish.

Program Requirements:

* 15-18 years old.
* Motivated students with a 2.5 GPA or higher on a 4 point scale.
* Mature, flexible, open-minded, and able to adapt to living with a host family.
* Eager for the academic challenge of studying in a foreign school.
* US Citizen/Resident- living in the US.

Our unique Western Europe tour is ideal for those who want to experience more than one European country over the summer. This exciting program starts in London, England, continues to Paris, France and concludes in Barcelona, Spain. In each country, you'll be immersed in the local culture, architecture, cuisine, and language. You'll live in a centrally-located dormitory-style accommodation, attend language classes in the morning, enjoy activities in the afternoon, and explore your Europe through fun weekend excursions. No previous language experience is required but a sense of adventure is!

Scholarships are Available. - Intrax Study Abroad offers several High School scholarships with the support of our partners. We also encourage students to help pay for their Study Abroad program by fundraising a portion of their program fees. Youth Leader Scholarship: Awards of $200 to $1,000 are granted to high school study abroad applicants on the basis of academic merit, extracurricular involvement and financial need. Preference will be given to students who are involved in community service and have demonstrated their commitment to studying abroad by raising funds to help cover their high school study abroad program fees.
