  • Chiang Mai

Durations of Program: 1-2 years and over 2 years

Description: American Pacific International School offers an American-style curriculum to internationally-minded students aged 2 to 18 years, nurturing inquiry and creativity in students, inspiring them to become life-long learners in a multi-cultural environment through a balanced academic, extracurricular and residential program with an appreciation of our host community.

We encourage respect and the development of ethical understanding, fostering individual responsibility and self-esteem in a stimulating student-focused learning environment while preparing our students for global transition to higher educational opportunities.

Highlights: Students who graduate from APIS, therefore, are expected to:
" be confident of their own value and respect that of others;
" be able to live in community with others;
" be able to question information presented to them;
" respect nationalities and cultures other than their own;
" be responsible and use information responsibly;
" be prepared for higher education throughout the world.

The recent extension of WASC accreditation to cover Kindergarten and Elementary Grades and the school's successful completion of two of the three stages of International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme authorization process means that students entering the Middle and High School grades are well on track for achieving these expectations.
