Volunteer Vacation in Bangkok, Thailand
Thailand
Durations of Program: 1-2 weeks and 2-4 weeks
Typical Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks
Dates: All year round
Description:
Volunteers can teach English, basic computer skills or simply caring and interacting with the orphans. There are also opportunities to work closely with care givers and physiotherapists in providing care and support for these disabled orphans.
Highlights:
Our volunteering projects around Bangkok offer opportunities to work with abandoned, sick and/or disabled orphans. You will have a chance to take on an active role in care-giving and being a friend to the orphans. Consider a family volunteering trip, when you could contribute as a family, sharing the warmth like an extended family, letting your children play and interact with the orphans. You will see that as much as your volunteer trip is a blessing to the orphans, it will also be to your family. You will feel encouraged and loved in return as you care for the children. The little that you think you are doing could profoundly change the children's perspective of the plight they are in. Our programs provide volunteers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the people of Thailand, and gain an in depth experience of the country and its culture that will stay for rest of your life.
