Description: The participant will share the life of a volunteer French family for some weeks. This family integration provides a firsthand opportunity to understand French Culture and improve language communication skills.

French is a widely-spread language not only in the world of culture but also in the world of business. Speaking French is a tremendous asset for students' business and personal career.

The French host families welcome their exchange student for some weeks with the hope that the experience will lead to friendship. They look forward to sharing not only their language but also their everyday life with someone who is eager to participate.

In addition to the family integration, the participant will have the chance to go to a French school "college" or "lycée" with the host sister or brother or with a neighbour (the French student and the participant may not be in the same class). Thus, during the weekdays, the participants will attend all the classes whatever the subjects are: French, mathematics, history, geography, English, Spanish, science, and many other options.

The participant is expected to attend all the classes, but she/he will not be obliged to do the homeworks, school tests the aim of this integration is to discover the French school system, and, overall, have a social integration with French teenagers.

Eligibility
- A minimum of two years of French language study in order to benefit from the school integration
- Participants must show that they are mature enough to participate in the program that requires:
- interest in learning about the French culture and school
- deep desire to integrate a different family and share actively their
everyday life
- enthusiasm for improving language communication skills
- willingness to make new friends
- an open and flexible attitude

Therefore we would recommend that the student is no less than 14 years old.
Limited space is available for 18-years-old.

Highlights: Location
Host families come from many walks of life and may live in any part of the country (in a big town, in a small city, in a village or on a farm...). Wherever the student's host family lives, there will be wonderful things to discover and absorb. Students can be placed anywhere in the country. The location depends on the host family: our aim is to match a student with a host family whose interests and hobbies are almost similar to the student's.
Host family will provide full board though it is likely that participants will have lunch at school.

Dates and Length
This program takes part during the school time in France (September to June). From 2 to 10 weeks. On request, whenever during the year, except July and August. In June, some schools have already stopped courses, as they are requested to be exam centres, so that it is more difficult to live a complete school experience during this month.

Cost in US$: 1015 euros (6 weeks)

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi and World Wide Participants.
