Since 2005, Mandarin Rocks has been successfully hosting summer programs every year for primary school, middle school and college students coming from all over the world. This year, with our great management, your schedule will be well organized with a perfect balance of courses, sports, activities, cultural visits and trips, allowing you to have a deep insight into Chinese culture, improve Chinese rapidly and at the same time enjoy your summer vacations.

Shanghai is an exciting city offering infinite possibilities for enjoying beauty, Chinese history and lifestyle. It's a modern and lively metropolis with a vast range of sights and entertainment to delight its visitors. It serves as the optimal environment for learning Chinese. A visit to Shanghai is an ideal opportunity to explore all that China has to offer.

Major program components:

* Language course
Intensive Chinese course: 20 lessons every week in the morning from Monday to Friday. As the leading Chinese language school in Shanghai, Mandarin Rocks is able to provide premium courses by utilizing unique teaching methodology and a carefully selected faculty with rich experience in teens and adults teaching. Listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities are all integrated in the class to develop and improve students overall language skills. The teaching contents are customized to different age groups.

* Activities
A minimum of four afternoon or evening activities are held from Monday to Friday each week. They include sports activities like ice skating, martial arts, ping pong, badminton, cultural workshops like calligraphy, Chinese painting, paper cut and other relaxing activities like city tour, paintball, movies, acrobatic show, barbeque, etc. The activities cater to different age groups.

* Tours
Every weekend students will explore a different city or famous resort outside Shanghai with our camp counselors. For duration of six weeks, students will visit Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Zhouzhuang, Qibao, three of which served as capital of China in ancient history and the other two are most famous townships in China.

* Accommodation
Students live in safe, clean student residence or school hotel (double or triple occupancy room) with 24 hour security and emergency support. Accommodation is arranged based on gender, age and personal request. 3 meals, snack, drinking water is provided daily. Our camp counselor stays with the students during evenings and weekends throughout the whole program to take care of everything
