Duration of Program: 2-4 weeks
Dates: June 21- July 4 in Seville; July 5 - July 18 in Cadiz
Description:
Our AP Language course includes small, interactive classes that will let you take your Spanish to the next level. All professors have been trained and approved by the College Board AP Program. Classes are four hours every weekday and focus on preparing you to get the most out of your AP language year through focusing on grammar and vocabulary in the AP curriculum. Each week has its own cultural theme. You will end the program with an oral presentation and mock mini-exam. After lunch with your local host family and a siesta, you will get to know Spain first hand through cultural and social activities. Weekends excursions are included in the program. Choose from one of two exciting locations: Cadiz or Sevilla. Sevilla, the cultural capital of Andalusia, is famous for its stunning architecture, beautiful public gardens, and vibrant festivities. Cadiz is an ancient city in southern Spain with beautiful beaches and traces of Roman and Moorish cultures. Explore the narrow, cobble-stoned streets of either city, picking some fresh oranges from the trees, and test your Spanish in conversations with the locals!
