High School Soccer Players: Train the Barca way in Spain this Summer! The ASA / FC Barcelona programs combines elite soccer training by FC Barcelona, one of the top teams in the world, with Spanish study, excursions, and residential support by ASA, expert provider of summer programs for high school students since 1984.
Highlights:
Train as champions train. Whether you are looking to earn a college scholarship, make your state program, earn a place on your club team or simply ensure your spot on your varsity team, the ASA FC Barcelona elite soccer program will help you reach your full potential and achieve your goals. Training is led by official coaches from the FC Barcelona Soccer School and consists of 2 sessions per day 5 days per week. * Improve technical precision * Improve your game intelligence * Increase your speed and agility * Gain strength and power * Improve flexibility and balance * Develop mental toughness * One coach per 10 players * Individual evaluation report Additional Activities: On field sessions are complemented by carefully designed soccer workshops to help improve your understanding of the game. These hour long workshops meet every day. Topics include: history of FC Barcelona, soccer theory, physical training, performance training, sports medicine, sports psychology, and a private behind the scenes FC Barcelona Museum tour. Spanish Language Classes: The program also features daily Spanish language classes taught by expert instructors from the prestigious Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB). Students will be divided into 2 or 3 levels depending on ability. This is a great way to improve your Spanish and get the most from this exciting opportunity. The City of Barcelona and Beyond: Barcelona's history enriches its vibrant modern cultural life and reputation for being cosmopolitan and cutting edge. Saturdays and Sundays will be assigned for regeneration recovery time and cultural excursions in Barclona and beyond. Participants enjoy 2 full day excurions - Port Aventura Theme Park and Sitges - and enjoy visits to Casa Batllo, La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia cathedral, the Picasso and Miro Museums, and Barcelona's beaches, as well as a guided tour of the gothic quarter.
