Durations of Program: 3-6 months and 7-12 months
Dates: inquire for dates

Description: Highly modern, multicultural, technologically advanced, soccer loving, philosophers and poets, fashion forerunner, dynamic city centers, lush green hillsides, auto industry, lakes and forests - all of this applies to Germany! With its excellent education system and welcoming people, Germany will provide you with the perfect opportunity to explore the heart of Europe.

Your Host Family: A new place to call "home"

Our reliable German partner organization will arrange a caring host family for you; while we cannot guarantee that you will be placed in a certain region of Germany, we try to find the best possible match for you. Most host families have children and live on the outskirts of metropolitan areas. German families are excited to experience another culture and way of life by hosting an international student - they will love to hear about your traditions while sharing theirs with you!

Support System: We are there for you

Adjusting to a new culture and way of life is both challenging and rewarding. To ensure that your time in Germany will be a success, we maintain contact with you throughout your stay. You will have regular meetings with your Regional Coordinator and can contact our partner organization office with any questions you might have.

* Assistance with visa procedures and paperwork
* Carefully selected and screened host family

At the end of the year you will truly be at home in Germany. From the first snow to the first spring flowers, from the first day of school to the last, you will have had the complete German experience!

Semester Program:
If you would like to improve your language schools and get to know Germany without missing an entire school year in your home country, our semester program is the perfect match for you. You can decide whether you would like to come in the summer or in the spring - either way there will be a host family waiting to welcome you.

* Herzlich Willkommen! Berlin Welcome Weekend

Get to know Berlin and your fellow program participants at our orientation weekend! For all academic year and fall semester students, we provide transportation, lodging and activities on a September weekend. This is your opportunity to learn interesting facts about German customs, language, and people while exploring the fascinating capital city.
