At AMHSI students plunge into a chronological study of Jewish history, beginning with the Biblical period and ending with the modern Middle East. Students study and travel the country according to a historical time-line. The program uses the land of Israel as "a living classroom" with on-site, on-the-move teaching. Students learn chronologically more than 4000 years of fascinating Jewish and Israeli history. Class can take place atop a mountain, in a cave, at the sea. AMHSI offers the unique opportunity for students to take their regular high school classes in addition to the core program, so that they don't fall behind regular school work. An amazing way to learn, live and experience the best of Israel AND earn high school and college credit!

There are six sessions annually, four operating during the school year and two during the summer. Students can enjoy an exciting college atmosphere in co-ed dorms at their 'home away from home' at the beautiful school campus in Hod Hasharon, just outside of Tel Aviv. There are also optional trip add-ons, such as Prague and Poland Holocaust study tours.

AMHSI is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and participants may receive full high school credit and earn up to six college credits.
