Description: El Nomad's summer programs will introduce you to a new culture and way of life. They will help solidify your Spanish language in real-life situations, and help you gain practical skills, while you give back to a community in need.

As it's summer, plenty of fun is also included through our pre-arranged group tours. These trips will allow you to experience as much of Ecuador as possible during your summer abroad.

4-Week Program                
Dates: July 6th - August 3rd
2 weekend day trips to nearby sites
1 weekend trip to Quito
32 total hours of Spanish instruction

6-Week Program

All overnight trips have a hotel stay included. Students will be transported by private mini bus and will be led by adult guides who have many years experience in student trips.

Highlights:
All El Nomad programs include:
* Airport pick-up and transfer to host family home
* An arrival informational meeting for all students and their host families
* A city information packet
* A home stay for each week of the program, including 3 full meals per day, a private room, and access to laundry facilities
* Spanish instruction by a certified, experienced El Nomad Spanish instructor
* A local volunteer position for each week of the program
* Weekly meetings with an assigned volunteer mentor
* Organized local weekend activities led by El Nomad staff
* Free or low cost cultural activities led by El Nomad staff
* Transfer from the host family back to the airport

We have set programs, but are able to customize any of them to fit your exact needs. Our program options include Spanish classes (group or one-on-one private tutoring), home stays, internship and volunteer positions, and travel packages. We also offer low cost or free cultural activities lead by El Nomad staff. These include cooking lessons, local market shopping, salsa classes, day trips to the natural hot spring baths near Cuenca, and many more!
