Summer Children, Teens and Parents Half-day Program in Paris, France

  France
  • Paris:
  • Paris

Durations of Program: 1-2 weeks, 2-4 weeks and 5-8 weeks
Dates: July 6 to August 14, 2009

Description: Our Paris half-day program is held at a conveniently located campus in the southern region of Paris near Porte de Versailles and the Aquaboulevard Centre, a swimming pool and leisure facility. The campus is located within easy commuting distance of central Paris so you'll have many chances to explore this magnificent city of 2.2 million. With its hundreds of museums and designer boutiques and its endless array of famous monuments, there is a never ending list of fun things to do and see in this exciting city!

The "Saint Nicolas" course centre facilities include 40 classrooms, a cafeteria with a self-service restaurant, vending machines, a cyber-café, restrooms and large terraces.

Course & Teachers:

The program for children and teens is broken down into two age groups, 6 to 11 and 12 to 16. Students 16 and over are placed in adult classes. The lessons are taught by experienced and engaging teachers who are committed to making each lesson comprehensive, fun and memorable. Students are given opportunities in class to draw on any previous knowledge of French and even if they are absolute beginners they are encouraged to speak in French from day 1 in the total immersion environment.

Accommodation:

This is a half-day program for families who are visiting Paris and accommodation is not provided. If you would like to find accommodation close to the school please note that the program takes place at the Saint Nicolas Summer Campus, which is located in the Southern region of the 15th Arrondissement, 5 minutes on foot from the Corentin Celton metro station. We recommend staying at the Adagio City Aparthotel Porte de Versailles. This fully-furnished aparthotel is located one metro stop from the Saint Nicolas campus and offers comfortable accommodation in studio, one or two bedroom units for families up to 6 in a central location.
