Description:
Travel for Teens offers hands-down the best cultural immersion experience in the United Kingdom, giving you behind-the-scenes insight and insider access. We combine fast-paced excitement with important insight into the culture, travel on a flexible schedule, and offer tons of options every day so that you can create your own personal trip. The best part of this particular program is the intangible and captivating atmosphere of the UK, something that you wont be able to truly understand until you actually arrive and feel it for yourself. London and Scotland offer amazing opportunities to delve into cultures that share intriguing similarities and differences with our own American way of life. Our trip begins in London, one of most multicultural and intriguing cities in the world. Here, well check out all the big sights like Big Ben, the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, and St. Pauls Cathedral, but well also enjoy theater, live music, shopping in the West End and Camden Market, and much more that is not on the average tourist itinerary. Before arriving in Scotland, we will confront and ponder over the enigma that is Stonehenge. In Scotland, you will discover a mystically beautiful land of green hills and heath. Our travels will take us to Edinburgh, the thriving capital of Scotland and home to a bustling student culture. Outside of Edinburgh well make our way into the craggy Scottish Highlands, unscathed by time since the era of William Wallace (a.k.a. Braveheart). This area is host to the annual Highland Games, a serious competition involving traditional Scottish physical challenges and bagpipe music. We also offer a unique excursion to Loch Ness where you just may be the one to finally spot Nessie! Join us in London and Scotland this summer for the trip of a lifetime!

Travel For Teens's Mission Statement: Travel for Teens believes that teen travel should be both fun and enriching. Our programs feature choice in what you do, see, and experience, a dynamic that sets us apart from superficial tours that herd large groups from one site to another.
We visit the best of the mainstream attractions while offering the opportunity to explore the culture from a less touristy perspective. We interact with our host cultures, taking cooking and dance lessons, performing valuable service work to help local communities, and conversing with the people who have spent their lives living in the places we journey to.
We have crafted our unique programs to engender love for travel, hunger for learning, curiosity about differences, appreciation of similarities across cultures, and an understanding of what it means to be a global citizen.
