The college is located in Eastbourne and Lewes, East Sussex in the vibrant South East corner of the UK approximately one to one and a half hours south of London by train.

Highlights: There are approximately 5200 full-time students at the college of whom 400 are international and European Students. Virtually all students perform outstandingly well at the college which has an overall success rate of 93% which is far above the UK national average.

Each year nearly 800 students qualify for university entrance from academic, vocational and foundation courses. The A-level pass rate in 2005 was an excellent 97% with international students achieving outstanding results and progressing to top UK universities and courses.

In November 2006 Sussex Downs College was awarded the prestigious AoC Beacon Award by the British Council for international student support and guidance. Qualifications: English Language: IELTS, CPE, CAE, FCE, PET and TOEIC. Academic and Vocational Courses: GCSE, A Level, BTEC, International Foundation Year and Foundation Degree. TEFL Courses: CELTA course and TEFL Taster Day.
