Best High School program USA

  United States

Durations of Program: 3-6 months and 7-12 months
Dates: August 2010 to June 2011

Description: During this academic program in a public american high shool in the USA, students will be hosted by an American host family and will attend classes in a local American High School. The host families during the academic program in an American High school are middle-class families, who are willing to share their lives, hearts and home with a foreign high school student.

American high schools believe that the presence of international students enhances the learning environment and teachers expect them to be active in the school's life while they are participating to the American High School program.

Extra curricular activities are offered by all American high schools: sports and music are really popular but photography or volunteer work may also be proposed. These activities are a good way to integrate and to make friends among American students during your academic program in the USA. The student is responsible for all school fees during his/her high school program in the USA: registration, books, lockers, laboratories, gym/physical education, yearbook, class ring, letter jacket, student activities, extra-curricular etc. Classes start in August and finish in June for this academic program in the USA.
