Description:
Volunteers can work at the school as teacher's aides and tutors, or they can lead crafts and games. Individuals with professional skills, education or otherwise- such as medical, carpentry, nutrition, etc., are also encouraged to contact us about volunteering. We also host volunteers and interns in our Volunteer Center in Antigua.

Working with the children at the elementary school brings a satisfaction and enjoyment that is incomparable. Your work contributes to the access to education and indeed, the future of Guatemala. We provide a great deal of support and assistance to volunteers and work with them to create tailored work plans based on their skills and interests.
Qualifications:
Qualifications vary based on desired work. For work with our morning program, when the children are offered the basic curriculum, an intermediate level of Spanish is required. A minimum time commitment of four weeks is also desired. For the afternoon extra-curricular activities, a basic level of Spanish is required and the time commitment is flexible.
