Description: This Spring Service Adventure Tour includes working hands on with homeless children and providing them with life's basic necessities. Volunteers will also receive a 40 hour community service certificate for leadership team building skills and outreach, as well as letters of recommendation are also available from team leaders for qualified participants. Changing their world on your break is worth more than anyone can say in words. We truly leave our footsteps in the Hawaiian Sands worth following. Cultural experiences include an authentic Luau and Show at the Polynesian Cultural Center, dinning local style and learning about our cultural first hand. Our eco-tour will include snorkeling and reef exploration. Adventures also include surf lessons with the Pipeline Champion (Kevin Okimoto). Tour of the beaches and other hot spots. Shopping and night life along the tiki tourch lite white sands of Waikiki Beach while emersing in the Hawaiian culture. This is a mini version of our full 4-week summer program. Qualifications: Volunteers need to be open minded to new cultural experiences including food, language, environment and other aspects of living outside their own comfort zone. Teen must be enrolled in High School 9-12 grades and have a 3.2 gpa or better. Recommendation letters and other references are required to apply.

Typical Volunteer: A typical volunteer is open minded and eager to build relationships with others from around the country or even the world. Loves to explore and learn about new concepts and cultures. Teens have a willingness to work with others to complete projects and give their all to make a difference in the world around them. Typically teens who arrive on the tour are a bit shy or worried, but quickly open up and become part of the group as a whole. Our team is very prepared for all personality types and help to assure that every teen receives the full benefits of the tour offered.

Age Range: 14-17 (High School Students)

This Program is open to American, Asian, Australian, Canadian and European Participants.
