Description: Are you interested in business and economics? Would you like to learn how businesses are designed and managed? Are you wondering what makes some businesses more competitive than others? Are you looking to improve your management, decision-making and presentation skills? Then this is the course for you!

Cambridge Enterprise Programme is a new ORA course designed for young people interested in Business, Management and Economics. In the unique environment of the University of Cambridge students will get a chance to participate in a variety of lectures, presentations and workshops designed to develop their knowledge about the realities of running a business, as well as increase the students' confidence and leadership skills. The course is suitable for students who are interested in studying business-related subjects at university or pursuing a career in the business and management sector as well as those willing to develop their teamwork skills and creativity.

The Cambridge Enterprise Programme is designed as a combination of academic classes and group activities. In small groups students will be taught the principles of Business Management, Economics and Finance. Students will have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of business such as accounting and finance, marketing and advertising, human relations and business ethics.

In addition to morning classes, students will get a chance to participate in skills-based workshops designed to develop their presentation and leadership skills.

The programme will include a competitive element in which students will be asked to work as a group and research, design and market a particular business idea. The programme will culminate in an Enterprise Fair during which students will have to present their ideas to others.
