Description: Frankfurt is the financial and transportation centre of Germany and the largest financial centre in continental Europe. It is home to the European Central Bank, as well as a stock exchange and several large European commercial banks. Frankfurt is the only German city regarded as an Alpha world city due to its importance in the global economic system.
