As part of Next Step Connections commitment to help the next generation of future leaders take their first steps into the professional world, we have created the NSC Young Entrepreneur program in Shanghai for overseas students aged between 15 and 18 years old. Hosted at the premises of a prominent Chinese business university in Shanghai, the young entrepreneur program offers you a unique opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills, business acumen and Chinese language abilities at an early age.
Highlights:
During those 4 weeks, you will learn how to turn a business idea into a savvy structured business plan and ultimately pitch your business idea to our local panel of successful entrepreneurs and investors. * Program Overview All program components will be taught on-campus at our local business University partner. * Program components Program component 1: Core Entrepreneurship Workshop (30hours) Entrepreneurship workshops will be taught by veteran university teachers and local entrepreneurs. Workshop includes turning a business idea into a business plan, pitching to investors, market research... Program component 2: Business module (18hours) Business classes will be taught by veteran business/finance university teachers. Classes include resume building, Chinese business culture, international business, introduction to marketing, introduction to Finance.... Program component 3: Mandarin Lessons (40hours) Chinese classes will be taught by local University teachers. Week end Excursions/activities includes: Expo 2010 Site, Zhouzhuang famous water town, Urban Planning Center, Shopping at the Fabric Market, Acrobats Show, World Financial Center and more.
